Did George Clooney have work done? Welllllll…

Classic plastic surgery site Make Me Heal actually seems to be going to other way, cutting against the grain of those gossipy folks claimed to have outed another celebrity unwilling to admit having plastic surgery work: George Clooney. The ‘site is posting some particularly damning shots of one ugly scar the one-time Batman is sporting on his stomach.

Is the two-time winner of People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” (nine years apart no less, having bagged the award in 1997 and 2006) cheating more than a little bit?

Not at all, claims Make e Heal, often the first to speculate on such matters (cf. the Hillary Clinton flap):

“While gossip rags are claiming the scar is the result of a tummy tuck or liposuction, an examination of the photos by Make Me Heal and consulting plastic surgeons reveals that no cosmetic surgery has been undertaken by Clooney … Liposuction scars are minimal … As for the tummy tuck claim, the placement of Clooney’s scar being above the belly button dismisses this possibility because tummy tuck incisions are made on the very lowest part of the abdomen … it is also possible that the seeming scar is actually a skin fold in Clooney’s stomach.”

Clooney’s publicist Stan Rosenfield also denied that Clooney had any cosmetic surgery: “It’s probably just from putting on the weight he lost from filming during his last movie.” However, this is not to say that Clooney is cosmetic-surgery free, as the same website told of an interview in which Mr. Ocean admitted having eye work – probably a blepharoplasty – done.
