Yes, it’s true. The Blondie frontwoman celebrates her new age on Sunday. Cosmetic Surgery Chump unfortunately has no information regarding what Ms. H. will actually be doing on the big day, but we do know what the gossip ‘papers are slated to discuss: The woman’s plastic surgery.
This week, for one reason or another, Harry became unabashed about the cosmetic surgery she’d had done, ultimately chalking the work up to “business reasons.” To wit: “Everybody knows that I’ve had plastic surgery. I did it for business reasons” and specifically, “Yeah, I had a facelift years ago. Why not? It gives you all the things you need to be part of the action. I don’t feel like hiding myself away.”
Lest the IRS be listening and readying to bust the chanteuse for illegal deductions on her upcoming tax return, Harry explained that “You photograph better, and looks are a key part of being an entertainer, so I felt it was something I had to do. All sorts of horrific things happen in life - why make it worse by worrying about getting older? Do some charity work, or learn a new skill instead.” (Huh?)
The excellent detective team over at the Make Me Heal website, meanwhile, gets a bit more Sherlock on Deborah by guessing that Harry also has had belpharoplasy and an endoscopic browlift, “which explains her youthful forehead.” The Healers also figure Harry for “dermal fillers such as Botox, Juvederm, and Restylane to erase fine lines and wrinkles.”
